![]() dsk image, for grub4dosThe drive Will mount on Q only! The Drive will be formated in NTFSOnly tested on Windows XP Runtime ISOAdd in your "menu.lst" the following:( just under the VistaPE entry lines-leave a open line at the top and bottom of these commands-)title ERD50 for Windows XP x86map -mem /boot/ERD50.dsk (hd0)map -hookroot (hd0,0)chainloader /setupldr.bin(the boot folder can be changed to a folder of your choosing ,just note that this is CASE sensitive) you can modify/add the files using UltraISOsave and boot!enjoy and thanx to the ppl that came up with this great stuff!!! :thumbup:Edit :Here is a mod to the files to easily run oriensol's hddimage.cmd batch scriptthis will remove the error on Grub4dos i had just use this app to make the *.dsk filesrater then using Jaclaz's mbrbatch/mkimg batchesthat i described aboveim not a expert script-er but my mod worksit will automatically mount the drive image tooJust run the "easyrun.bat"all needed files is includedThis is a launcher by FireBloodPhoenixAdapted from Jaclaz's mbrbatch/mkimg batchesTo be run with oriensol's hddimage.cmd batch scriptThis script was made to be mainly used for theMS_DaRT erd05 (winXP_86x). The batch will format and will mount (and will open) your image diskDo not close the command line! From Explorer navigate to your mounted image (this is not needed but i did it: I used windows format to format to a normal FAT32 -like formatting a flash drive- with "default allocation size" and "Quick format" disabled) and copy in its root:"erd50.is_""""setupldr.bin""winnt.sif"Now, in the always open Command Prompt you can read the followingCODEPress any key to unmount the image and uninstall, finally, press any key: your disk image will just unmount. Now, navigate to your single "MBRBatch" folder that just existing in your system drive root and copy the just created "ERD50.dsk" image to your "boot" folder on your bootable. Using notepad you can add the following lines:īootDevice = "ramdisk(0)"BootPath = "\I386\system32\"OsLoadOptions = "/noguiboot /fastdetect /minint /rdexportascd /rdpath=erd50.is_"and then save itplease download " MBRBatch.zip"(), unpack it and copy the single MBRBatch folder to your system drive root and from Command Prompt typelook for mkimg.exe and run itthen typeERD50.dskthen type200mthen type16/63then type06then type/fszand a warning will appear:The batch has detected that the newly created image is mounted as drive X:(X is a drive letter depending of your other existing ones)Now, please Press any key to continue. You can get it from the I386 folder on the ERD50.iso using UltraISO Now you need to get "" and "setupldr.bin" files. This will make a file called "ERD50.is_"(81mb) Use "CMD" and go to where you saved the ERD50.iso file Ok first you need to compress the ERD50.iso I did on Windows XP Sp2 installed on my VMware 6.02(but you can use a normal PC) Ok now most of these commands to make my "ERD05.dsk" file, I just renamed it to "ERD50.iso" if its not named that ![]() Ok so i have a non-stranded ERD05.ISO(184MB) file I used UltraISO 9.3.6 to edit my VistaPE v.12 (RC1b) winbulder 080 ".ISO" disk I used Alcohol 120% 1.9.8 to load the images on my VMware machine Please note that this is HOW I DID it you may use other programs to do the workĪnd you need to know WTF you are doing with all the programs i use (not for PC newbs) !!! ![]() On how i got a link for ERD50 on grub4dos The other ISOs are just plain old ISOs as prepared by the DART preparer. The ERD 5 ISO must be prepared as detailed in commander. ![]()
